to boston, thousands preparing for the worst as the category 1 storm beryl at the u.s. coastline and is already killed 58 people in the caribbean. good evening. >> several governors along the east coast including martin o'malley have declared states of emergency. they are urging coastal residents to move inland ahead of a potentially huge storm formed by the merging of hurricane sandy and a winter storm. people in fells point our gatherings sandbags but we begin with our media relatives. >> the latest updates about our storm, sandy is still a hurricane but a marginal one. category one. 75 mph winds. we can see on the radar rain coming out of the carolinas moving up the eastern shore. also the front out to the west.
